Renewable Energy Design

We provide energy consulting services in the early stage of building design. It's only by integrating conservation and renewable energy techniques in the early stage of the game, could we really make a real impact on the building environment.

Dr. Chris Greacen, our partner, has done extensive work on renewable energy system analysis and installation in both Asia and Africa (through the World Bank).

He has also worked hands-on in remote villages to help the villagers learn about appropriate renewable energy strategies; this includes installing solar panels, micro hydro, and biogas in villages where there's no electricity.

He has worked in China, Ladakh India, Guatemala, Tibet, Nepal, the Yurok and Zuni Native American Reservations, and North Korea on solar and wind power installations.

Aside from doing engineering analysis, Chris is also involved in policy work. He was instrumental in drafting the Very Small Power Producer (VSPP) regulations in Thailand, and similar regulations in Tanzania, where business and home owners are allowed to sell renewable electricity back to the grid. http://www.palangthai.org
